Monday May 19th (Parking-Graduation Weekend)

Hello all,

Over this weekend and Commencement morning (Monday May 19th )we are asking that you not park your vehicles in the interior most parking areas of the campus if possible. The campus has a limited number of parking spaces and we are trying to have as many parking spaces as possible for guests.

As many of you are aware, Highway 6 near the campus has many traffic cones on it.   These cones will hopefully be removed later today or Monday morning.

Thank you for all you do to support Commencement Weekend.

Block Party (High Street Friday May 16th)

Dear students,

The off-campus end of the year celebration known as Block Party will
begin at 11:00 a.m. this Friday. Here are a few tips for making your
celebration more enjoyable and safe.

1. Remember that all alcoholic beverages must remain within the
barriers

that block off High Street between 5th and 6th.

2. Open container violations will be strictly enforced outside the

boundaries.

3. Eating food and drinking water is greatly encouraged.

4. Please assist in keeping the neighborhood as clean as possible
by

helping to clean during AND after the Block Party.

5. Be safe and have fun.

For the 3rd time in recent weeks we have experienced someone lighting a fire or burning fliers in the residence hall loggia areas.   This type of activity is not safe and needs to stop.   The college and the Fire Department are very concerned about this happening.

If you have any information concerning who is burning the fliers please contact the Campus Safety & Security Department at 269-4600.

Thanks,
