High Wind Warning Advisory/Freeze Warning

Hello all,

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for our area until late night. Wind gust will be from 50-65 miles per hour. In addition, there is a freeze warning (temperature falling below freezing) in effect from 1am to 9am Monday morning.

At this time, we are getting limbs and trees down in the campus area. Please be careful when walking around outside on campus.

Safety Tips/Fall Break Campus Building Hours

Hello all,

Please remember to lock your rooms, unplug clock radio's, turn off hot plates, coffee pots and other items when leaving for fall break. Furthermore, please secure your bicycles to the bike racks.

8th/East Street Intersection Closing (Vehicle Traffic)

The intersection of 8th/East Street will be closing on October 14, 2008 and will not re-open for three weeks or longer. Please use an alternative route when traveling on the east side of the campus.

8th Avenue at Railroad Tracks(Near Joe Rosenfield Center)

On October 8th or 9th (tentative) the pedestrian walkways will close on 8th at the railroad tracks and this will not reopen until October 16th. There will be no way to cross the railroad tracks at this location just east of the Joe Rosenfield Center.

Park Street Closing (October 7th)

Park Street between 6th and 7th will be closing for a week and a half starting October 7th. This is due to work being done on the underground utilities in the area.
